ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a lightweight, durable and multiuse thermoplastic, ABS has a melting point of 225 degrees to 255 degrees however 240 degrees is normally a stable temperature to print with. ABS has been used in many industry’s but its most commonly known for being the material used in Lego. ABS can give off a nasty smell and intense fumes when printing, it is recommended that an extractor fan is to be used when printing around people with breathing difficulties.
